My work process

Hi there, I wanted to give you guys an insight on my work process on my sketch drawings, so here it is!
First off, I look for a nice picture that I like, usually on Facebook or Twitter.

Then I set up my workspace, I put the picture right beside the drawing page, I usually work a letter size at 300 dpi.

I then do a lose sketch to set up action lines, proportions, a basic skeleton and muscles.

Now I add more details, adding clothing and facial details, at this point I use a 8 px size brush.

I now switch to a 12 px size brush, and start to give more details.

Then I render in a few sketchy shadows, black areas and details, I leave the face until last.

I now add details and finish the face with the 12 px brush and do some shading.

Lastly, I erase a couple of lines here and there, and add a few more details, and finally I add my signature sketchy lines in the blank areas.

Easy as pie, just repeat the process for 25 years. This is how I work on sketches in a digital medium, for pencil and paper, I pretty much follow the same process, later on I'll post my cleaning and colouring process, I hope this gives you a bit of an insight. Cheers!
